This after school yoga club provides a healthy, fun-filled way for kids to unwind after a long school week. Ideal for students looking for a non-competitive fitness activity that provides a stronger more flexible body, greater focus and concentration, and relaxation of body and mind.

Yoga club will meet on Fridays from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. 

The yoga class will be taught by Ms. Mary. Students will be expected to supply their own yoga mat/towel. Mary is experienced in teaching different modifications of yoga for students at either beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Ms. Mary will be focusing the class primarily on Vinyasa Yoga.

Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that is one of the most popular styles of yoga in the United States. Also sometimes called “Vinyasa Flow Yoga,” this type of practice involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures.
