The MIDS curriculum is designed to be challenging and comprehensive and is further defined by two important aspects of teaching:  Curriculum Methodology and Curriculum Content.

Our Curriculum Methodology draws on aspects of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) which emphasizes an international focus and an inquiry-based foundation for curriculum content. It also includes a synthesis of the best research and practices from a range of national systems, combined with the wealth of knowledge and experience at other international schools.

Our Curriculum Content is based on the Core Knowledge curriculum, supplemented by specific language arts curriculum for Spanish learning. It meets or exceeds national standard requirements in all areas and is designed to foster the development of an international-mindedness in our students.
